Mona’s got some new fortune telling cards she can’t wait to test with the Traveler. After all, New Year’s is the perfect time to peek at the future!

Finally, some Tarot ASMR! It only took me an entire year!

For those who don’t know, I actually collect tarot decks and use them in my daily life. Last year I wanted to put out a handcam video going through my decks, but the technology gods just weren’t on my side. But through the magic of PNGs and a lot of video editing, I can finally share my love of the cards with you!

Normally, I write a script first and then do the sound effects and recording. But this time, I wanted to do a real reading for you guys. So I recorded the sounds of me laying out this spread first, then wrote up all of Mona’s explanations after. The reading in this video wasn’t scripted to tell a story – those are the real cards I pulled from the deck, after asking for a look at the Starlings’ future!
