I did “nothing” to see if I could win anyway. Well, as much of nothing as I could. Of course I still take my turn and get stars, certain board events needing action (I keep my inputs to a minimum), and as a bonus the boss. But nothing else!

Why I am playing as Toad instead of Yoshi or Luigi? Cause I never unlocked his character figure! So might as well.

So I thought it would be like Wiggler's Garden where it takes like 10 or so attempts. I was wrong! Wiggler's Garden is just so rigged against you... Okay and I got SO LUCKY near the end of attempt 2?! Everything literally lined up perfectly. Yoshi somehow LOST to me in a duel for our stars (I was looking away and when I heard Toad cheering instead I was freaking out). The next star was 40 coins. No one else could get it by the time they reached it. And even though I then lost one of my stars and fully expected to have LOST at that point since no way I was beating attempt 2 after what happened in Wiggler's Garden, and someone could easily steal a star with a duel space, no one else reached enough coins to beat me, or got a duel space! You wouldn’t believe how much I was almost yelling at them to NOT land on a duel space on the final turn agh
