[ISHC #15] LIVE! Shiny Mareep appears after 7 years and over 27,000 REs in SoulSilver (+ Evolutions)

(Quick note to the ISHC hosts, I'm aware I didn't show the clock other than having it on the layout, so its cool if this doesn't count. I was just a bit flustered after having found this and worrying about OBS.)

I started this hunt in January 2013, over 7 years ago, at which time hunting on a DS capture card was unheard of. I would never have foreseen the circumstances that I would eventually find this shiny, 7 years later, on a DS capture card. To clarify, this was not hunted consistently over 7 years. I amassed over 20,000 encounters between January and March of 2013, before taking a long break from hunting. I only picked this hunt up again last month, just prior to getting my cap card; I did 7349 REs since picking it up again, hence where the 27439 has come from (In reality the total is probably more than that).

I think I will be going for a SS badge quest, either just on this file, or alongside my 2nd SoulSilver. I anticipate my next target will be Dratini in the game corner, although it will probably be some time before I get around to hunting it as I would now like to focus on Tepig alongside my Gen 3 hunts.

Also, as mentioned in the video, the recording is a bit dodgy in some places (mainly the audio) as I hadn't quite mastered OBS, although future capture card shinies should be better.
