The SaGa series is a long-running franchise of open-ended, player-focused RPGs developed by Square-Enix, but with 25 “main” titles in the series to choose from—and soon a 26th with Emerald Beyond—jumping into these games might seem a bit daunting.

Luckily, Joie has you covered. After years of experience, tons of research, and a brief replay of most of the games in the series, he’s ready to give you some solid options to start with, as well as some tips for your journey!
