Bosnia and Herzegovina–based defense company TRB emphasized the importance of international cooperation, particularly with Turkish defense companies, as it continues to expand its presence in global markets.

Speaking to DefenseHere, TRB Owner and General Director Slavenko Ristić underlined that collaboration with Türkiye plays a key role for companies from the Balkans region. He highlighted Roketsan as an important partner and client, noting that such partnerships are essential for strengthening regional defense industry capabilities and competitiveness.

Ristić stated that TRB aims to position itself more strongly within the global defense sector by pursuing international cooperation and seizing new opportunities across different markets.

He also highlighted TRB’s strong footprint in Egypt, where the company is active in the fuze market. TRB produces a wide range of electronic and mechanical fuzes, a product line that has seen significant success and demand in the region.

In addition to ammunition components, TRB is also a manufacturer of military-grade armored vehicles. Ristić stressed that the company’s platforms are not based on commercial chassis, but are entirely developed in-house to military standards. The chassis design and all intellectual property rights belong to TRB, ensuring full control over performance, protection, and lifecycle management.

Although TRB did not display its armored vehicles at this year’s exhibition, the company provided detailed technical information to visitors and partners. Ristić expressed hope that at future events, TRB will be able to showcase its Despot and Vihor armored vehicles, as well as its demining machines and ammunition production lines, through live demonstrations.

TRB continues to pursue growth through international partnerships and technology development, aiming to further strengthen its position in the global defense industry.
