A展示室では、科学的な資料に基づいて、過去の琵琶湖とその周辺の環境を再現し、合わせて再現までの研究プロセスがわかるような展示を行っています。約200万年前の琵琶湖を再現したコーナーは、ジオラマの中を歩けます。大昔にタイムスリップしたような感覚を味わう事ができます。

In this exhibition room we reproduce the environment of Lake Biwa and its surroundings in the past based on scientific research, and display exhibits that show the research process. In one part, you can walk in a diorama that reproduces Lake Biwa about two million years ago, and enjoy the feeling of having slipped back in time.
