In this post, we are going to learn about the history of Puri Jagannath Temple and the miracles happening in Jagannath Temple.
The temple of Jagannath, also known as Puri Jagannath and Puri Jagannath, is located in the Odisha state of our Bharat.

Jagannath Temple is the largest temple in the state of Orissa. The tower of this temple is 213 feet high. It is also the largest tower in the state of Orissa.

Puri is included in the series of temples known as Chardham of Bharat. Govardhana Peedam, one of the four Peedams established by Adi Shankara, is located in Puri. The place is surrounded by the rivers Bhargavi and Sarvathirtha Mahi and looks like Dakshinavarthi Valampurichang. Jagannath, Balarama and Subhadra are seated on jeweled thrones in the sanctum sanctorum. Balarama is six feet tall, Jagannath five feet tall and Subhadra four feet tall. They are displayed in white, black and yellow colors. Here 56 types of offerings are made to Swami.

The temple was built in AD. Built in the 12th century by the kings of the Sodanga dynasty. The temple looks like a palace.
It is a temple built according to Pancharatha style. This temple has two prakaras. Around the Jagannath temple there are temples of 30 Hindu deities. Devotees such as Mirabhai, Jayadevar, Samartha Ramdas, Tulsidasar, Haridas, have come here and worshiped Jagannath.Puri Jagannath Temple has many wonders in itself.

Unlike other Hindu temples, the idol of Moolavar in this temple is made of the ore called sacred neem. Every twelve years, the idol is recreated from the same tree and re-consecrated.

Krishna's most famous weapon, Sudarshana Chakra, is placed on top of the temple tower. This wheel is 20 feet” tall and weighs approximately one ton. No matter where we stand in the city of Puri where this temple is located, we can see the Sudarsana Chakra on the top of the temple.

The shadow of the main tower of this temple is invisible to our eyes at any time of the day. The flag on top of the tower flies against the direction of the wind. Birds do not fly over the Puri temple.

A strange tradition has been followed in this temple since last 1800 years. A priest climbs the 45-storey tower and changes the flag every day. It is said that if this ritual is missed, the temple will have to be closed for the next 18 years.It is said that no birds fly over the Puri temple.

Here prasadam is cooked in earthen pots. In the temple kitchen, seven vessels are stacked one on top of the other, and food is cooked in a wood-fired oven. When cooking in this way, the food in the first pot on the top is cooked before the food in the pot below is cooked. Such a miracle cannot be seen anywhere else.

புரி ஜெகன்நாத் என்றும், பூரி ஜெகன்நாத் என்றும் அழைக்கப்படக்கூடிய ஜெகன்நாதரது ஆலயமானது நமது பாரத் தேசத்தின் ஒடிசாமாநிலத்தில் அமைந்துள்ளது.

கருவறையில் ஜகந்நாதர், பலராமர், சுபத்ரா ஆகியோர் ரத்தின சிம்மாசனத்தில் அமர்ந்திருக்கிறார்கள்.
புரி ஜெகன்நாதர் ஆலயமானது ஏராளமான அதிசயங்களை தன்னகத்தே கொண்டது.

மற்ற இந்து கோவில்கள் போல அல்லாமல் இந்த கோவிலில் உள்ள மூலவர் சிலை புனித வேம்பு என்று அழைக்கப்படுகின்ற தாது பிரம்மத்தால் செய்யப்பட்டது.

ஒவ்வொரு பனிரெண்டு ஆண்டுகளுக்கு ஒருமுறையும் அதே மரத்தினால் மீண்டும் மூலவர் சிலை மறுஉருவாக்கம் செய்யப்பட்டு மீண்டும் பிரதிஷ்டை செய்யப்படுகின்றது.

கிருஷ்ணரின் மிகவும் பிரபலமான ஆயுதமான சுதர்சன சக்கரம் கோயில் கோபுரத்தின் மேல் வைக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது. இந்த சக்கரம் 20 அடி” உயரமும் தோராயமாக ஒரு டன் எடையும் கொண்டது. இந்த கோவில் அமைந்துள்ள பூரி நகரின் எந்த இடத்தில் நின்று பார்த்தாலும் கோவிலின் உச்சியில் அமைக்கப்பட்டுள்ள சுதர்சன சக்கரம் நம்மை பார்ப்பது போலவே இருக்கும்.
இந்த கோவிலின் பிரதான கோபுரத்தின் நிழலானது பகலில் எந்த நேரத்திலும் நம் கண்களுக்கு தெரியாது. கோபுரத்தின்
மேலேற்றப்பட்டிருக்கும் கொடியானது காற்றின் திசைக்கு எதிர் திசையில் பறக்கிறது. பூரி ஆலயத்தின் மீது பறவைகளும் பறப்பதில்லை.

இங்கு மண் பாத்திரங்களில் தான் பிரசாதம் சமைக்கிறார்கள். ஆலய சமையலறையில் ஒன்றின் மேல் ஒன்றாக ஏழு பாத்திரங்கள் அடுக்கப்பட்டு, விறகு அடுப்பில் உணவு சமைப்பார்கள். அப்படி சமைக்கும் போது, அடியில் உள்ள பானையில் உணவு வேகும் முன் மேலே உச்சியில் உள்ள முதல் பானையில் உணவு வெந்து விடும். இப்படியோர் அதிசயத்தை வேறெங்குமே கூட பார்க்க முடியாது.

இங்கு சமைக்கப்படும் உணவுகளை மகாலட்சுமியே நேரடியாகக் கண்காணிப்பதாக ஐதிகம். இதனால் இங்கே சமைக்கப்படும் உணவுகள் மிஞ்சுவதும் இல்லை பற்றாக்குறை ஏற்படுவதும் இல்லை என்கிறார்கள்.

சமைக்கப்படும் உணவின் அளவு, வருடத்தின் அனைத்து நாட்களிலும் ஒரே அளவாகவே இருக்கும். ஆனால் வருகின்ற பக்தர்கள் எண்ணிக்கை இரண்டு லட்சமானாலும் சரி, இருபது லட்சமானாலும் சரி, சமைக்கப்பட்ட உணவு பத்தாமல் போனதுமில்லை. மீந்து போய் வீணானதும் இல்லை.
