Seasons -
The four seasons of each year
Bring forth new emotions
As well as the beautiful change in scenery and weather
This is a story of my walk through unspoiled lands
A walk of unparalleled awe
I am a wanderer this is my tale
Of nature touched by beauty in harmony

Spring -
Still snow from winter
Light snow has yet to melt
But still it gracefully paints the landscape
Just enough to glisten our view
Flowing streams and creeks
Long meadows and green grassy hills
So many colors of the flowers
Their pedals ever so bright

Cherry blossoms' radiance enlightens the soul
Oh how I long to be with you
Reminds me of why I respect nature
Makes me ponder the question: why
Seeds of the dandelion flow throw the air
Time passes slowly waiting for each dusk
Stay up with me all night and sing melodies of creation

Valley of the mystical willows
I can wander but lost I will not be
Crisp but yet gentle air
Cold enough to give a chill
All I need is my cloak for warmth
And some spiced mead
Morning dew rests upon the ferns
Fruits bloom fresh to be eaten

Summer -
From the warm ocean's beach
To the sands of the desert
A new summer is now upon us all
A bright light illuminates this land
This light the blinding sun in my eyes
On a long dawn the sun slowly rises
Taking it's time it's patience strong
I may take shelter in tree's shade
Or embrace the lingering dry heat

Walking for miles
From the barren deserts
To the ever tall mountain tops
My destination is not known to me
In this heat my body may suffer
But my mind can see it's true beauty
The sounds of cicadas in the night
Weather now calm and steady
Peaceful waves of the lake like a sleeping deer

Autumn -
Summer ends and Autumn begins
Brown leaves little green remains
Season of gloom season of serenity
Melancholy and somber between dark and light
Should I embrace this time
Or prepare for winter
My memories of olden days
Grasp to my mind
A reflection of what was
I discover an old path within the forest's corner
Many years since visited by a wanderer
Autumn oh how great you are
Grey skies and warm rain
Morning fog creeps upon us
Brown crisp golden leaves
They fall one by one
Slowly gliding towards the dirt

October - I welcome you Autumn
A new change in scenery a change in perspective
September – I embrace every moment
The middle of this gloomy and mournful season
November – our last moment before Winter's first breath
May it arrive late to keep you
Autumn – old gardens are given new life
A harvest of vegetables to be eaten with joy

Winter -
As I walk through
The pure white forest
Along a narrow path
I gaze up at the sky
Bright stars shine
Right above me
Clear oh so clear
On a cloudless night

Surrounded in silence
Alone oh so alone
All I hear are my footsteps in the soft snow
I take solitude here
With the trees and the mountains
In the woods and in the Forest
Solitude from all pain
Leaving my mind to meditate

The hour is near
I may be frostbitten I care not
I embrace this cold and it's essence
I embrace the blizzard no matter how harsh it's wrath
I cannot be woken from this white dream
Every breath I take I see condensation
Winters touch has graced the lake
Frozen which upon I now stand

Freezing with cold might
I think of you snow
How each flake was created unique
The pines stand firm in the cold wind
Just as the snow covers the rocks on the mountain

For now farewell winter
I fall asleep in peace
A white wolf glances in my direction
Then leaves me to rest
As a glimmer of light
Slowly fades into the distance
I hear a howl far way
Then I say to myself goodnight
