In this video, I share my thoughts on the disturbing situation that recently occurred with Lisa Edwards, a woman with special needs who was arrested after trespassing from a hospital. Lisa, who was in a wheelchair and not well, collapsed in the police car, she died the next day.... As someone who has spent the past 40 years caring for people with special needs, including my own children and my father who had a kidney transplant, this story hits close to home.
