IMMACULATE 2003 BMW K1200GT

This bike is NOT a daily driver. It is purely a weekend recreational vehicle driven by a mature adult (I am 57).

As for the history of this bike, I am the 3rd owner. The 1st owner owned the bike from 2003 to about 2007. The 2nd owner purchased the bike in 2007 and sold it to me in 2023. The 2nd owner, Chris, is a retired aircraft avionics mechanic and is EXTREMELY meticulous. Chris purchased the bike with the Two Brothers exhaust and the Rhine West performance chip.

The motorcycle is now in somewhat better condition than it was when I purchased it. It was in immaculate condition when I bought it from Chris, and I have just made it a bit better. Since I purchased the bike I have completed some routine maintenance including engine oil and filter change, transmission fluid change, and final drive fluid change (all with new crush washers and specified fluids). I have cleaned the K&N air filter with K&N filter cleaner and I have oiled up the air filter with K&N filter oil. I have replaced the fork tube seals, for tube dust boots and fork oil as well. I have completed other repairs including minor fairing repairs, handlebar riser replacement, gearbox output shaft seal, gearbox input shaft seal, clutch slave cylinder, gear shift indicator switch, and fuel sending unit gasket. Also, the Michelin tires still have about 80% life left on them. I always use a torque wrench per the specifications called out in my shop manuals.

The bike is a head turner. This is because the previous owners have taken very good care of the bike. It has always been garage kept and maintenance has always been a priority. That being said, BMW Motorrad owners are typically very proactive when it comes to maintenance and being meticulous regarding the care of their motorcycles. This motorcycle is NO different.

The bike comes with color matched left and right cases, factory tool kit underneath seat, a couple of motorcycle covers, front high-brightness LED lights and strobe, an aftermarket backrest (shown in the photos), a soft rear case, and any remaining fluids and parts that I have purchased.

The title is clean. Never been dropped. No accidents. Local buyers only (no shipping). Mature riders only. Must have motorcycle endorsement on you license. Must show proof of insurance. CASH ONLY. No checks. No Zelle/Venmo/PayPal. No credit cards. I require a $4000 deposit prior to riding the bike that will be refunded upon return after your test ride.
