Spring Sucker Fishing (Part 1): New Species!

After a couple of good outings earlier in the week we didn't record, we decided to target spring suckers for a few videos. Cory needed a white sucker for his species lifelist and Vivian needed a northern hognose sucker and a redhorse sucker, all of which were possibilities. In our previous outing, Vivian caught 4 white suckers and Cory caught 4 hognose suckers, exactly the opposite of the ones we needed. We set out in this video to rectify that situation, and provide a few sucker-fishing tips. We actually caught a lot more chubs and shiners than suckers in this video, but Cory did manage a new species, and in Part 2 we get revenge on the suckers in the big river.
