Why was the mushroom table the life of my 1 yr olds birthday party? Because it was a fungi!

This was truly the easiest DIY ever. And the best part is I get to keep them in my garden for forever!
•
All you need to do is find some cable reels. Turns out they’re are so many near me, and I was able to talk them down because I was on a party budget.
•
Next, cut off one side, attach it to the underside of the mushroom top, and sand it down. There’s nothing a little drywall mud can’t fix, including these cable reels!
•
I got three paint samples from the hardware store for $5 each, and then used some other left over paints I already had. Don’t forget to prime the mud first though! I painted the stems and the mushroom circles using left over white paint.

I can now use these tables for parties, but for the most part, they are posed around my garden and they are absolutely adorable!
•
Since most of it was left over, I spent $25 on these. Well worth it in my opinion! Would you attempt something like this?
