1985 Koriteh Celebration in The Gambia With Sir Dawda Kairaba Jawara

A historic event during the 1985 Koriteh Celebrations in The Gambia. His Excellency Sir Dawda Kairaba Jawara. He and his government then joined the Banjul Muslim elders and the then Imam Ratib of Banjul, late Alhaji Abdoulie Jobe and his mosque committee.
After the Eid prayers they all went to the state for the usual courtesy call to the head of state. Gambians this is an important record in your history and will give all the opportunity to look at the way our elders interacted most of whom have passed.May Allah forgive them all.
The second part highlighted the visit of two former Ministers of the first Republic and some Banjul elders to one of them,Alhaji Babou Samba.May Allah The Almighty forgive them all .
