Unadikum, in arabic meaning "i'm calling on to you" was written in 1966 by Palestinian Poet Tawfeeq Zayyad, a poet and
politician who was well known for his revolutionary poetry highlighting
strength and resillience of the Palestinian People. In this poem he calls
on his people and promises to protect them and never back down from them. This remains one of the most popular songs of the Palestinian movement for freedom.
