In this video, I’m in the Dominican Republic, chillin' in Santo Domingo’s Zona Colonial. I was curious about finding the real Santo Domingo, without all the tourist spots, so I asked some locals. They told me to walk 4 blocks down.

As I’m walkin’, I spot this guy sellin' bananas on the street, but they weren’t ripe, so I couldn’t eat ‘em. He just laughed at me! Then, this sweet old lady saw what happened and brought me two ripe bananas from her house. She even asked if I was hungry and invited me to eat with her family in her small, run-down home.

She lived there with her daughter and grandkids. The food was simple but great, and I gave her a little bit of money to help out. It was such a cool experience!
