Types of Thermometers & Terminology | A Level Physics

Calibration, Linearity, Sensitivity, Robustness, Range : these are important key words of thermometers discussed in this video. In addition, we also take a look at how the thermocouple works and how the Resistance thermometers work: this is the Thermistor and the Resistance wire. We then compare the different types of the thermometers. In addition, a general explanation to how thermometers work and the definition of thermometers are explained.
This is in terms of the terminologies explained, e.g how sensitive is the thermistor in comparison to the thermocouple? What is the range of the thermocouple? e.t.c.
