Fixing badge switch in #BMW 1-Series E87 that gets stuck whenever it's getting cold or the car is dirty. After disassembling plastic trim from the trunk door i've noticed that the rotation axis required cleaning and lubrication. After this procedure #badge switch works as expected.
When the badge is stuck in the open position, next time you unlock your car it will automatically release the trunk lock mechanism.
