My US 50 road trip continues on into the western half of Utah, and oh my this was an adventure! It started out innocently enough driving through some small towns with great scenery. Then I decided to go a little off road - well A LOT off road - into the Sevier Desert. That wasn't the best idea. But then I got back on US 50 and decided to take Old Highway 50. This was a better decision, but there were still some stressful moments on the rougher parts of the road. However, I found some hidden gems and was very glad I took the old road! I ended up staying at a hotel that was half in two states on the Utah/Nevada border. Without a doubt it was the most adventurous day of the trip!
