St. Nektarios Monastery in Aegina - Άγιος Νεκτάριος Μοναστήρι στην Αίγινα - was founded by St. Nektarios in 1904, upon the request for help from women who wished to become nuns. Learn who this remarkable man was, the way he shook up the Greek Orthodox Church with his then-controversial beliefs, writings and deeds, and hear his magnum opus hymn, ‘Agni Parthene Despoina’ (‘Oh Pure Virgin Lady’).

The film ‘Man of God’, released August 2021, details the story of his life and the founding of his monastery.
