TURN CAPTIONS ON FOR COMMENTARY

Akumajou Densetsu's soundtrack is spectacular thanks to Konami's VRC6 chip. The NES counterpart, Castlevania 3, is also very good, but lacks some things, like the deep bass provided by the sawtooth wave channel of the VRC6. The Master System noise channel can do something similar to that bass, but with only 3 chanels available it can only reproduce something similar to what the NES does. So this remix is like the missing link between the Famicom and NES releases of the same game.
