E-PROPS : tutorial to measure propeller spacer & spinner (English version)

E-PROPS propellers : tutorial to measure the spacer length and the spinner diameter.
Before ordering an E-PROPS propeller for Aircraft, with adjustable pitch on the ground (DURANDAL / EXCALIBUR V20 range) or with in-flight variable pitch (GLORIEUSE range), please take two measurements :
the length of the spacer (if necessary)
the diameter of the spinner (if you want a spinner)
The designer of the E-PROPS propellers, Jérémie BUIATTI, explains here how to easily take these 2 measurements, 1/ when there is no propeller on the aircraft, and 2/ when there is already one mounted on the aircraft.
As there are rarely any standards in light aviation (ultralights, homebuit aircraft, CNSK, LSA...), it is not possible to guess the position of the propeller in relation to the engine cover or the diameter of the spinner... except sometimes by Madame Anita ! :-)
