The City of Cape Town’s 2022-2027 Integrated Development Plan (IDP) priorities and objectives will focus on addressing the most critical challenges. We will focus on six priorities: Safety; Economic Growth; Basic Services; Housing; Public Space, Environment and Amenities; and Transport.

These priorities will rest on three foundations that will provide a solid grounding for moving forward. These are: A Resilient City; A More Spatially Integrated and Inclusive City; and A Capable Collaborative City Government – all of which are essential to realise a ‘City of Hope’.
