Kicking off the first of my semi-regular weekend streams by continuing my Fierce mode playthrough of Pikmin 4, where it was finally time to head for the final area, the Primordial Thicket, while also clearing the last four Night Expeditions.

With my Fierce mode playthrough of Pikmin 4 nearing it's end, it was time to head for the final area (the Primordial Thicket) in search of the castaway Nelle, who could help cure Oatchi of his sickness. However, I first decided to head back to the Giant's Hearth for a couple more Night Expeditions, where the increased difficulty of Fierce mode was really starting to show, but with the right strategy I was able to clear them without too much trouble. I then continued on to the Primordial Thicket, where my main objective was just to open up as much of the map as possible, as this would make it easier to clear as much of the area as possible next time. I think I done pretty well at this, with most of the map revealed and almost half of it cleared out, while also completing a couple of caves in the process. I decided to finish off with a couple more Night Expeditions, which were undeniably the hardest I've faced, as I actually had to resort to using items in order to clear them, which I usually try to avoid if possible, so that really shows how tough they were. Fortunately, it turns out they were the last two Night Expeditions, so I don't have to worry about them any more, and means I can just focus on the regular gameplay from now on. With them out of the way, it may actually be possible for me to finish this playthrough during my next stream if I'm lucky, although two more streams is probably more likely (plus possibly an extra one for Olimar's Shipwreck Tale).

Now that I am back working on weekdays (for the time being) I will only be streaming when I have time on the weekends. As a result, the day and time of these streams will vary from week to week and I may miss a week or two if I'm busy with other things. I am also not sure how long I will continue with these weekend streams, as I am mainly only doing them for now in order to finish my Fierce mode playthrough of Pikmin 4, so may decide to stop once that is done. I may also return to doing weekday streams in the future once my current temporary work comes to an end, or if my hours are reduced before then.
