Here is another famous Bengali fish recipe Ilish Posto or Posto Ilish. This Hilsa fish recipe is very delicious and very easy fish recipe. It is one of the best Bengali Recipe in Bengali Cuisine.

Ingredients :
1. Hilsa Fish / Ilish Mach.
2. Posto Bata / Poppy Seeds paste.
3. White mustard seeds paste / Shorshe bata.
4. Green Chilli Paste.
5. Yogurt / Tok Doi.
6. Salt.
7. Mustard Oil.

Methods of how to make ilish posto:
1. At first to marinate the Fish add 1/4 tsp Salt and Yogurt. Mix well and leave it to marinate for 20-30 mins.
2. Then take a bowl and add 1 cup Water, White Mustard Paste, Poppy Seeds Paste and Green Chillies Paste. Mix well.
3. Heat up a kadai and add the Masala mixture in it. Cook on high flame.
4. When it starts boiling cover and cook for 3-5 mins on low flame.
5. After 5 mins add the Fish, little bit of Salt, 2 tbsp. Mustard Oil. Mix well then again cover and cook for 5 mins on medium flame.
6. After 5 mins cook for 2 mins on high flame.
7. After 2 mins turn off your oven.
8. Our today's recipe Posto Ilish or Ilish Posto is ready.
