Kalashnikov military robot unveiled at Russian arms expo

Large-scale international military expo "Army-2018" opened on August 22 in the Moscow region with over 1,500 companies showing off their most advanced developments .

Visitors and delegations from more than 100 countries could see samples of the most advanced military equipment - tanks, anti-aircraft missile launchers, artillery systems, drones, tanks and even a military robot produced by Russian defence company Kalashnikov Concern.

Observers suggested the 13-foot tall “controlled bipedal walker” likely had no moving parts, and was more like a "statue."

The forum will continue until August 26, presenting weaponry from Russia, China, India, Pakistan, Turkey and other countries.
