The island of Ireland was in the spotlight in the Netherlands and Belgium in September – as we hosted our annual B2B travel trade workshops in Amsterdam and Brussels.

Tourism companies from across the island – from diverse hotels, whiskey distillery experiences and activity providers to visitor attractions and hidden gems of heritage – engaged in around 400 commercial meetings with Dutch and Belgian travel professionals. They inspired them to extend the content of their existing programmes and itineraries, or to include the destination for the first time in their 2026 programmes.

Our goal was simple: to create meaningful connections between small businesses from the island with Dutch and Belgian travel professionals who can bring visitors at scale.
