2003 Trailblazer manual seat to 2004 power seat conversion

Описание к видео 2003 Trailblazer manual seat to 2004 power seat conversion

My 2003 Trailblazer came with a manual passenger seat. I swapped out seats between my 2003 and 2004, which has a power passenger seat. In this video we learn about the two variants of connector c314 in the 2003 and how we can rewire the seat connector of c314 in the 2004 to make this a plug and play install in the 2003. No, really, I didn't have to do anything except flip flop some pins between the two connectors to make it work. As explained in the video, adding heated seats is not part of this project.

If you are going to try this yourself, and are using a seat that has a different connector (like mine), keep in mind that I cut the truck side of the connector out of my 2004. If you buy a seat from a salvage yard, ebay, etc., chances are that the truck side of the connector will NOT come with the seat. In that case, you could hard wire power and ground from the truck to the seat harness. It won't be plug and play, but it will work.

Also, be sure to use the thicker orange wire for power. That one is protected by the 30 amp seat circuit breaker. The smaller orange wire is protected by a 10 amp fuse which will likely pop if it is used to move a seat.

50K is coming! Someone is going to win fat @#$%!!! ALL ABOARD!!!!!

Thanks Minty Green for your leather seats. RIP in peace.
