Historic Qualifier Play-In Best of 3 (Bo3) along with the qualifier itself is coming this weekend. Modern Horizons 3 powered up the boros energy archetype and it is a Tier 0 deck representing a huge metagame share in MTG Historic. As such, various decks have been popping up to try to beat this deck, including the Mardu sacrifice deck that Omrithopter piloted to first place over the weekend at a historic tournament. Leverage a bunch of sacrifice effects including Chthonian nightmare you get multiple ajani flips over the course of a game.
