Extreme XL Lagares 2022 | Legendary City Prologue Highlights

Extreme XL Lagares’s legendary City Prologue made a comeback after two years and it was a great entertainment through Porto’s iconic streets. It was held the other side of the river for the first time and organization put a lot of effort to execute this massive operation at the touristic heart of the city.

All riders took one hot lap to set the best time. XL, Hobby and Veteran classes rode the track in reverse which was fairly easy and match for their skillsets. Then Expert and Pro classes took the scene for the real challenge. Massive obstacles and narrow streets were tricky to pass and sometimes riders made mistakes which were ended up with fails.

The fastest 10 qualified for the City Prologue whole shot which was a race of the same track for only one lap. Jumping right into the narrow street stairs caused a bit of traffic which took a while to pass. Mario Roman made a great start and took the early lead and did not effected by the traffic jam. His teammate Wade Young was behind but the race was brief and couldn’t find a chance to make a move.

Mario Roman got the victory for the first podium of the race, Wade Young came in P2 and Portuguese Diogo Vieira P3.
