Hey guys! This is from the time I went to Veranda - a new restaurant that's opened up in Bandra, Mumbai. I loved the food and the ambience. So I thought of sharing it with you guys. So here it is! Also my review for Veranda along with recommended dishes is below. Please read:

Swanky new place in Pali and such a perfect one for date night. Dim lighting, cozy interiors and great food - that's Veranda.

You will get Amsue Bouche before you start eating. That's fresh aam panna with some idli soaked in gun powder. So you will have a hot and cold flavor in your mouth simultaneously!

What to eat?
Vegetarian salad with beetroot, hung curd and arugula
There's hung curd inside beetroot, trust me when I say that beetroot doesn't taste better than this. Also arugula leaves and citrus fruit flavored with honey mustard dressing - the flavors burst in your mouth!

Dahi Balla Chaat
Yes Dahi wada, baked yoghurt with some pomegranate essence, green chutney and imli chutney. On fleek!

Palak bhindi chaat
Fried bhindi, Dahi, chutneys, some chopped tomato. Extremely tasty. Fried bhindi done really well.

Paneer Trilogy
3 types of huge paneer chunks - one was mildly flavored and super soft, second was with spinach and the third had a red masala spicy zing going on.

Sabz Galouti Kebabs
Melt in your mouth. There's spinach with this super amazing Mango pickle on top. Then there's beetroot with tomato pickle on top. And lastly there was mushroom. The Mango pickle in the spinach one is outstanding.

Sundried tomato Kulcha
Tomato and onion flavored. Extremely tasty.

Baingan bharta
Perfect baingan bharta I have had. It's not an obvious order option when eating out, but do try it.

Gulkand Chocobar
Huge chunky Chocobar made in house and with a heavy gulkand flavor going on. Also sprinkled with saunf. Extremely extremely delicious.

White chocolate Souffle
Warm and soothing. Caramelized walnuts just add to the flavor.

What to drink?
Watermelon mojito
Watermelon and mint mojito. And it's super refreshing.

Watermelon spritzer
It's a watermelon and basil based mocktail along with some soda.

Also try this:
Pumpkin soup
Strong pumpkin flavor and served with some delicious cheese croutons.

Black dal
Not the over creamy type that you get everywhere. It is slightly spicy though.

The place is excellent. And the staff is very friendly. The chef Mohnish Rohrra does a swell job. His food is extremely tasty. Also the co-owner Rahul Rohrra is also extremely sweet.

Highly recommend.
