Prehistoric Crocodile Relative, Rauisuchidae, with Fossil Evidence of a Phytosaur Attack

Описание к видео Prehistoric Crocodile Relative, Rauisuchidae, with Fossil Evidence of a Phytosaur Attack

In Conversation with Sterling Nesbitt on a fossil evidence of a prehistoric crocodile relative, Rauisuchidae, with being attacked by a Phytosaur.

Always interesting the tales that bones will tell. In an fascinating discussion that Brian Switek had with Sterling Nesbitt at the 2014 Society of Vertebrate Paleontology Annual Meeting in Berlin, German; Sterling recounted how he discovered a leg bone of a Rauisuchidae with bite marks in it that included a fossil tooth of a phytosaur. Fascinating stuff piecing together these life histories from millions of years ago.
