So at this point, we’re 2.5 years into AMS2’s public release, and yet we still can’t select our own choice of helmets and glove colours, and we can’t re-name the AI drivers, configure and save them in-game, amongst other small-but-irritating issues…
BUT… with all that said, when you step into virtual cars this emotive, this visceral and this RAW, all the persistent little niggles that AMS2 has, simply melt away. This car feels out of place with 1991-Spec F1 cars, and needs a few 1990-specific cars to race against.

V1.4.5.2 - Opponents: Skill: 99% - Aggression: Max - Damage: visual.
The steering inputs shown in the onboard camera/TV replay footage seem to be a heavily dampened version of what I’m actually doing in reality.
It’s seemingly locked to a 90° lateral rotation in the replays, when in VR, it’s 1-to-1 with the reality - at 180° lateral.
