Those types of properties look great on paper. But it’s a short term vision. Property is a 30/40/50 year game. If there’s no infrastructure, there’s no demand.

It’s demand that pushes house prices up as people want to live there. Hence why properties in cities do so well. But you don’t get the reductions in the cities, in fact 98% of properties within city centres are overpriced. I believe it’s actually harder to find these types of properties.

If you buy in the middle of nowhere with a motivated vendor, why do you think they are selling? You're just inheriting the problem from them. I’ve got a few properties like that and I can’t get rid of them! They barely go up in value and the tenants aren’t great at all.
