The Pinkerton Avocado variety checks all the boxes for backyard growers. It stays compact, produces a lot and consistently, tastes great, and resists high heat. A lot of avocado varieties can get large and out of control, but the Pinkerton Avocado responds very well to pruning. It can be kept as a small tree, and still make large fruits, considerably larger than store bought avocados. It's a winner variety.
