As most of you know, I LOVE Fibes drums and this set is an incredible example. This set is in our Chicagoland store in Naperville, Illinois and comes out of my personal collection. Call me at 630-865-6849 for more information. This set is a Nazareth, PA era Fibes kit. Brushed brass over fiberglass and in wonderful condition. The set consists of the following drums: 8x12, 9x13, 10x14, 16x16, 16x18, 14x24, 14x24. (NOTE: The snare in the photos and video is not part of the set. The snare is a later era Austin, TX Fibes copper over fiberglass and is available separately for $600). The brass wrap on the kit is in the best shape I have ever seen for this finish. The set has some marks on it as expected but this is extremely clean. I recently replaced the batter heads on each drum so they all have brand new Remo coated Ambassador heads on the batter side. Toms have clear Ambassadors on the resonant side. Bass drum resonant heads are the original Fibes logo heads. The chrome is excellent. All of the badges are there and intact. I have the kit set up with only the 13 badge facing the audience. With the 12 and the 14 I have the badge facing the player. I wanted just the 13 badge showing. If you want to flip it of course that is simple, because the Fibes badge reads correctly either way, so you can just flip the 12 and 14, swap the heads and have all the mounted tom badges facing front if you want to. I did one very brief playing video done simply with my cell phone and playing the kit lightly. I have the 16x18 set up on the player's left and the 16x16 set up in the normal spot. Of course, you can mix and match the set up any way you choose here. Take a nice 3 pc 13/16/24 to the gig, or any combination you want up to the full kit. Amazing drums. Powerful, articulate, superb projection and a joy to play. I don't think you will find another original set like this in this condition. Please note: This is a big kit and these are VERY heavy drums, so domestic shipping will be expensive.
