The Lake Danao Natural Park in Barangay Danao is a small, scenic crater lake. It is located 15 kilometers from the town center, between Mt. Malinao and Mt. Masaraga. The lake is home to the rare tabios or sinarapan (Mystichtys luzonensis), which is the world’s smallest fish. It takes about 30 minutes to hike to the lake through carabao trails and abaca plantations, so it's best to bring a guide.

Danao Lake offers a beautiful natural environment with lush vegetation and is a great spot for anglers, as it's home to big eels and other freshwater fish. It is located in Barangay Danao, Polangui, Albay, at an elevation of about 500 meters above sea level and is around 20 km from the town.
