Figuring out what key your song is in can be a difficult task even for more experienced songwriters at times, but it is a crucial skill if you're ever using melodic loops in your track. Luckily for us FL Studio users you can now have the program automatically detect the key/scale your song is in using midi!
In the past You would typically need to purchase some kind of 3rd party plugin to detect the key a song was in but now it is as simple as clicking a button! A lot of the time you can use some easy tricks to figure out the key your song is in (which I do go over in the video) but this sadly doesn't work all the time which is why tools like these can definitely be helpful when you run into any problems figuring out the key of your song. I figured this trick out a couple of days ago and thought it would be a great tip to give yall since I hadn't seen anyone make a dedicated video about it yet.
