As I am leaving Tarawa in Kiribati, it is a good time to reflect and share some thoughts on Tarawa/Kiribati as a travel destination.

I then flew Fiji Airways on a Boeing 737 MAX 8 from Tarawa/Bonriki International Airport (TRW) to Nadi International Airport (NAN) in Fiji. Fiji Airways is the main carrier in the Southwest Pacific region and, apart from offering long-range flights to Asia and the U.S., serves a number of island countries through the Nadi hub.
