County Planning Discusses BC 2201 Manchester Proposed Annexation

*CORRECTION* In the video at minute mark 8:30, Planning states the current percentage of a resident's overall tax that goes to St. Louis County is 3%. The correct number is 5.9% of a resident's taxes go to St. Louis County.***

The St. Louis County Boundary Commission is considering an annexation proposal by the City of Manchester. The 1,466 acre annexation area is home to 6,549 residents, 2,865 housing units, Love Park, and Pierremont and Carman Trails Elementary Schools.

In this video, Acting Director of the St. Louis County Department of Planning Jacob W. Trimble, AICP describes the process, actions taken so far, and the impact the annexation could have on Unincorporated St. Louis County residents.
