2021 Aprilia Tuono Installing EVO Tech Tail Tidy HD 1080p

In this VLOG we install the EvoTech tail tidy on the 2021 Aprilia Tuono Factory. Not the easiest of jobs, but by no means the hardest of things to do on the bike. For whatever reason this install was a bit more of a hassle then it was on the 2017 as I remember?
But you can skip from bit to bit to watch the install, it came out nicely I do believe.
Things to note;
Tools used;
4mm Allen almost everywhere
Torx 25 & 30
10mm Combination
Phillips head screwdriver
Small blade screwdriver to help with connector tabs
8mm socket
3 1/2 mm Allen
As far as the install;
Evotech provides replacement fasteners. You will need to decide as you go through the install whether to use the OEM or the replacements.
In some cases you MUST use the replacements as with the different mounting plate some bolt lengths will need to be changed.
The OEM wiring loom with the new connectors to the Evotech tail tidy turns out to be longer than necessary. I did not cut or splice any wires, my choice. However I do believe that if one did do some cutting and splicing the install could end up being a little better fitted. As it is you must do some careful stuffing of the wiring back under the seat area.
I spent most of the day on/off doing this, but I reckon if you worked straight through on this it'd be a 2-3 hour job....particularly if you had a friend around to help!
