Custom Shooting Modes

A custom shooting mode (sometimes referred to as C-mode) is designed specifically for enthusiasts and advanced users that want full control over their camera settings. These modes are global settings that affect the entire camera and are used to save a dedicated user profile that can be instantly recalled with the flick of a wheel.

In Canon's EOS system, three such modes are included and are designated in your camera by the letter C, followed by a number. C1, C2, C3. For Canon R6 you can only save photography settings to a custom function, but for the R5 and the R3 you can also save video settings.
