It looked okay at first. But after a while the glue ran over to the other side and it stained. In addition, it did not want to hold on as it should. The remains of the old glue and the sponge continued to delaminate. The only way to make it look professional is to disassemble the soffit, tear off the old material, clean the remains of the sponge and stick a new material.
