In this video we talk about how to move your feet on your jab cross footwork combination
How to maintain your power, and equal distance stance. It's the basics of a step step footwork.
It doesn't really matter wether you step your back foot in or if you choose to use a step and slide style footwork.
The concept is the same , no different to some like a palm down or palm facing for delivering hook punches.
I would try both a slide or a step and see which you prefer for yourself.
