Hamburger SV Rebuild | Part 1 | Moneyball?

Today, we start a new save. We're attempting to rebuild Hamburger SV, the former European Champions. To spice up the idea, we will try this rebuild using Mustermann's attributeless skin, which should mean we attempt something of a Moneyball recruitment style. How far can we take this?
