Artists against Meta. Lets's talk

There has been an ongoing dialog on artists forums about the Meta algorithm (instagram, facebook, WhatsApp, threads, messenger) strangling artists, crafters and other small creatives.
On the 26 June 2024, Meta instituted a clause stating that anything posted on their platforms, including in private messages will be scraped for AI.
This is where I and thousands of other artists draw the line.
What is going on?
What are our options?
I explore both of these questions here and hopefully give a few answers.
