Cooking aglio e olio in the itaki chefbox is easy thanks to the rectangular design of the lunch box. Previously, we had to pre-soak the spaghetti to fit the round itaki pro. But with the chefbox, we only need to break the spaghetti in half. Wrapping the sliced garlic with olive oil in foil keeps the moisture out of the oil. Although the garlic was not browned, it infused the oil with the garlic flavor which flavored the spaghetti very well. The Thai chili added a little heat to the dish. Since shrimp cooks easily and we do not want to over cook the shrimp, we added it in the last 10 minute which resulted in perfectly cooked shrimp. This dish is so delicious and taste just as good if not better than take out. Do give this a try and enjoy!

Large tray:
70g - spaghetti
1 tsp - salt
1.5 cup - water (pasta)

Small tray 1: (foil)
3 cloves - garlic
1 - Thai red chili
1/4 cup - olive oil

Small tray 2: (parchment)
100g - shrimp
1/8 tsp - black pepper
1/8 tsp - garlic powder
1/8 tsp - salt

1 cup - water (itaki)
