The first new event for second half of Version 2.6 is called Vibro-Crystal Research and it involves a new NPC from Fontaine. Talking to Patrice near the Chasm will unlock this fighting/combat event which is quite similar to the Hyakunin Ikki. You will form a party of four units to fight in the arena, then set up your Transmitter and Receiver crystal resonance for the team. Transmitter Crystals will set the conditions to which the buffs can take effect while the Receiver Crystals will trigger the buffs themselves. Harmonic points can then be earned when such crystals are connected which further gives a Crit Damage buff when reaching its maximum potential. Harmonic Strength will decay if you don't earn enough points over time. The ultimate goal is to defeat as many enemies as possible within the time limit to earn corresponding medals and rewards.

Event Unlock Requirements:
Adventure Rank 28 or above
Must have completed part of the Archon Quest "Rite of Parting" in "Chapter I: Act III - A New Star Approaches"
