Siphokazi Molteno - Una voce poco fa from The Barber of Seville (CSOTW, 18th June 2023)

Siphokazi Molteno performing "Una voce poco fa" from Rossini's opera The Barber of Seville during the 2023 Cardiff Singer Of The World Main Prize Final.
The South African mezzo started out at Cape Town Opera, singing Dorabella (Così fan tutte) (among others), for which she won Fleur Du Cap’s Best Performance in an Opera (Female) Award in both 2020 and 2022. During the 2021/22 season, Siphokazi sang Rosina (Il barbiere di Siviglia) at Saratoga Opera and was the mezzo-soprano soloist in Beethoven’s Symphony No 9 with Camerata Notturna. She will be making her Met debut as Flora (La traviata) in 2022/23.
