Wolf Forte Primo vs Comford Shoulder Cradle rests - Miss M Review (but see update)

Miss Moonshine has a pinched nerve in her neck, so shares to tips on posture and fiddle accessories for players with long necks. Comford shoulder cradles are heavy, not adjustable, and expensive. Wolf Forte Primo shoulder rests are lightweight and flexible/moldable/height adjustable, making them potentially even taller than Comford, while also being 40 dollars cheaper. The pairing of chin rest and shoulder rest can be challenging to find the position that helps you keep a straight neck, without having to tilt or push down to maintain stability of instrument while playing violin. I've been at this for years, but finally have a combo that works. UPDATE: It turns out I was using the shoulder rest too high. And the Edu chin rest was not tall enough. After a couple months of this I tried taller chin rest (Wave 1.5") and lowered the Primo. Now everything is more stable. I will point out also that the one side of the primo always wants to fold closed and fall off my instrument. I have to use a twisty to keep it straight.
