The Yamaha B2SC2 Silent piano is an amazing acoustic piano with the benefit of having 10 digital sounds that you can access via headphones. In my video demonstration I have used the headphones socket as an output to allow the additional sounds to be heard via a powered speaker. The key action is nice and responsive, the acoustic sound is great and it has a lovely rich tone. When you press the middle pedal and move it to the left it locks a bar across inside the piano preventing the hammers from hitting the strings, and therefore other than a bit of key noise its silent. Through the headphones you can then play silently with the 10 onboard sounds it has. By connecting the piano via a cable (or wireless dongle you can purchase separately) to a tablet or smartphone you can access other features using the 'Yamaha Smart Pianist' app. This allows you to change the sounds, effects, play songs, transpose and more. This piano is ideal if you want to play later at night or whilst other people re in the same room and it has MIDI too so you can connect it to our devices via USB. I think this piano is excellent value with some extremely useful features.
